Samadhi

Samadhi is the final stage at which Union with the divine is reached. It is the highest state of consciousness and bliss.

Soul

Individualised spirit. The soul is the true and immortal nature of man ,and of all living forms of life, it is cloaked only temporarily in the garments of the causal, astral and physical bodies.

Spiritual Eye

The single eye of intuition and omnipresent perception at the center between the eyebrows. The deeply meditating devotee beholds the spiritual eye as a ring of golden light  encircling a sphere of opalescent blue and at the center a pentagonal white star. The spiritual eye is the entryway into the ultimate states of divine consciousness.

Super Consciousness

The pure, intuitive, all seeing, ever blissful consciousness of the soul.

Swami

A member of India's most ancient monastic order. A swami takes formal vows of celibacy ,renunciation of worldly ties and ambition devoting themselves to meditation , spiritual practices and service to humanity.

Swami Sri Yuteshwar

Yukteswar Giri (also written yuktesvaraSri Yukteswar) (10 May 1855 - 9 March 1936) is the monastic name of Priya Nath Karar, the guru of Satyananda Giri and Paramahansa Yogananda. Yukteswar was a Kriya yogi, a Jyotisha (Vedic astrologer), a scholar of the Bhagavad Gita and the Bible, an educator and an astronomer. He was a disciple of Lahiri Mahasaya of Varanasi and a member of the Giri branch of the swamiorder. Yogananda considered Yukteswar as Jnanavatar, or "Incarnation of Wisdom". (Wikipedia)
